Commission Info

I offer commissions in colored pencil, graphite, and watercolor. For examples of these mediums, please check out my gallery. I generally work with cats, dogs, and horses, but feel free to contact me for other ideas. I work from photographs so the better the photo, the better I can capture the likeness of your pet.

I use light-fast, artist quality pencils that last a lifetime as well as acid-free, archival paper for all of my pencil work. This ensures no fading and longevity.

If you have any questions or are undecided on which to choose feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to assist in any way I can.

I can usually complete a commission within 4 weeks but this can vary depending on size and medium. If you are needing artwork in a certain timeline, contact me and we can discuss it.

Before starting your portrait I ask either half or full payment, whichever you prefer. After completion of your portrait, I will ask for the remaining payment. I send work in progress pictures all throughout your commission to ensure your satisfaction.

These prices do not include shipping. Please add $15 for shipping in the U.S.

Reference Photos

Reference photos are extremely important in commissioning a portrait. The better the photo, the better I can re-create your pet. Photos taken in natural lighting with either a digital camera or high-quality smartphone are best. Try to capture your pet from their height to eliminate odd distortions that will not translate well into drawings.
